Helios Tunic Class (I Will Bring My Own Sewing Machine)
Helios' very own Debbie Heckert will be teaching this course.
This class runs over two days and will be held at Helios Stitches N Stuff in Mount Vernon, Iowa.
The first day is Friday, October 18 from 6:30 PM until 8:30PM. You will not need a sewing for this portion of the class.
The second day is Saturday, October 26. You will need and runs from 10am until 5pm.
Make a Tunic and learn a life skill, one that will help you fix a ripped seam or hem your jeans, as well as make clothing to fit.
The class covers patterns and how to choose your size, the mysterious markings and what they mean, what is a fabric grainline and why it matters, in addition to pattern hacks that allow you to make your tunic uniquely yours.

2 yards Swedish Tracing paper
A Sewing kit
· Marking pencil
· Tracing wheel
· Measuring tape
· Straight pins
· Pin cushion
· Needles & threader
· Seam ripper
Don’t worry if you don’t know what some of the supplies do; we’ll talk about them in class!
